ABOUT
Kate Delgado, MS, OTR/L

I have been a pediatric occupational therapist since completing graduate school over two decades ago. Since then, I have worked with all ages of children in clinical outpatient settings, schools, and homes. Home-based early intervention has become my niche: providing therapy in clients homes working alongside their families. I have worked extensively with children with a wide range of developmental disabilities. I love facilitating their growth in these earliest years, helping them acquire the life skills that are taken for granted and learned more intuitively by other children. Together we work on learning the skills of sitting up, crawling, toddling, climbing, singing, scooping, pouring, eating, coloring, turning pages, pointing, solving puzzles, tolerating messes – all occupations of being a child. I always enjoy including siblings in our sessions. I listen to parents concerns and their hopes for their children so together we can address goals that are meaningful to them.
