Just as olive trees require sunlight, nutrients and pruning to begin bearing fruit within 3-5 years, children born with challenging differences require thoughtful, skilled guidance to help them grow and thrive.

I work alongside families, providing occupational therapy to their children in their own homes during their regular routines.  I believe children are more receptive to therapy in their natural environment, whether learning to eat at their kitchen table, finding socks in their bedroom drawer, or scribbling with chalk in the backyard patio.  And families are more successful at carrying over strategies to solidify new skills when instructed in their homes.

I believe parents are an integral part of the therapy process and their involvement is directly related to their child's skill development.
